Lovely double room in victorian house

Hello there, bonjour, hola!

We have a short-term (4-6 months) double room to rent in St George, BS5 7. Start date mid-Nov but can be flexible on this if needed earlier/slightly later.

 

Us

You will mainly be sharing with Char, a Philosophy professor, but will also be with me (F35) and my partner Anthony (M40 something) who are live in landlords – however we are away for 3 months over winter, mid-Dec-mid-March. We all enjoy our own interests (climbing/walks/crafts/gym/learning languages/gardening/etc) but like to have a chat and feel at home too.

 

The house

The house is cosy and your room would overlook the garden.

It comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There are plants/pictures we can leave in the room too or let us know if you’d like them out.

You would be on the first floor with Char and share a bathroom, however while Anthony and I are away there is also our en suite (second floor) you can use to prevent any bathroom waiting times.

We have public transport (bus) to the city centre just at the bottom of our road and it normally comes about every 15mins. There is on street parking.

We’re a short walk away from St George Park, Church Road and Troopers Hill.

 

We are looking for:

Friendliness and warmth - Someone who likes to chat but respects everyone’s personal time/space too.

Clean and tidy.

A love of cats as our cat pretty much rules the roost. He is cuddly (once he gets to know you) and likes hanging out inside in the winter.

We would probably prefer someone who does not WFH.  I WFH 3 days a week as does Char – Anthony works away Mon-Fri most weeks.
