I am moving to london so my room is becoming available!
It is a decent sized double which comes unfurnished. (However I will be selling my bed and possibly my chest of drawers!) the room comes with a built in clothes rail which is handy.
The house is a 3 bed and has a lovely garden which is great in summer!! The house backs onto a nature reserve and is on a quiet road so it’s a very peaceful area. The room is £600 pcm and bills are around £150-170 pcm per person. Deposit is £730 not £0 but it wouldn’t let me put that.
You would be sharing with Lydia and Val who are both working professionals and they both work hybridly. Val is into running, meditation, going to the gym and is studying to become a PT. Lydia is into gaming, running/gym, hiking and is also studying for a masters in computer science.
They are both suuuper lovely and I am sad to be leaving them!! We really gel as a house so are looking for someone who is looking for a home and is up for doing occasional activities together (cinema/pub/picnics) but who will also respect each other’s space and have their own hobbies and things going on.
They would like:
- a female/non binary person aged 24-30
-a full time professional
-someone left leaning/generally empathetic
-someone clean and tidy (ofc)
The house is in St Werburgh’s which is such a dreamy location. It really feels like it’s own little village but it’s also so quick to get to the centre. The city farm is a 3 min walk away and there’s so many green spaces nearby. It’s also about a 25 min walk to Gloucester Road, or a 25 min walk to the centre. There’s a Tesco extra about a 10/15 min walk away at Eastgate retail park which also has an M&S, pure gym, ikea and more. There’s also an Aldi and Lidl nearby.
Transport wise there’s the 25 bus route which takes you to the centre. There’s also Ashley down station 10 mins away, and Stapleton Road/Montpelier stations are around 15 min walks away.
