Refurbished Room, Lovely House for a Professional

We are a couple in our mid-thirties seeking a new housemate as our current tenant is moving abroad for work.

It is a lovely three-bedroom 1930s house that we have been renovating over the last few years. One of the rooms is our bedroom, and one is a study. The advertised room is a double, recently renovated and fully furnished, apart from the mattress. The kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room, garden, and garage are shared with us, which has worked out great with our previous housemate. There is also an off-street parking space for one more car if required. After living in town for many years, this is a real luxury!

We are both professionals (working in the charity and construction sectors) and split our time between working from home and in Bristol. We are relaxed and easy-going and are looking for someone with a similar mindset who wouldn’t mind hanging out and sharing some cooking from time to time, although we also value your space and privacy.

Generally, we keep the house neat and tidy, and we need someone who shares this value.

We have a massive allotment right at the back, which we would let you use if that is of interest. It’s a great place to unwind in spring and summer.

Our interests include music,, hiking, wild camping, sewing, painting, cooking, watching films, board games, BBQ and the occasional festival in the summer.

There are two bus stops going into town (a 3-minute walk), or it’s a 15-20 minute cycle with the option to go down the River Avon.
