Room available in friendly flat share

Hi! We have 1 double room available in our flat share in Kingsdown as our lovely flatmate Rachel is leaving us to move back to Australia. It’s a 15 minute walk to the centre and has a shared living room with a tv, a view of the whole city from our little balcony and access to parking if you want to buy a permit. The room is furnished with a bed and storage for clothes.

Rent is currently £500 per month but the landlords have said this might increase for the new contract. They haven’t confirmed this yet and we will update as we find out more. Bills are usually around £120 each and the landlords are quite flexible regarding the contract - it could be 1 year long or 6 months to start then rolling depending on what we agree as a flat.

You would be living with myself, Eleanor and Athene. I am 28 and currently work with animals and enjoy jogging, yoga, travelling and reading. Athene, 28, is working in food and systems and loves finding new coffee shops and going on nature foraging walks. Eleanor, 27, works in retail and illustration. They periodically work from home and enjoy gaming, plants, and going on walks.

We’re definitely not a party house and are looking for someone to fit in with our gentle atmosphere. We occasionally grab food together and chat in the kitchen but there is also no pressure to be social. We would prefer another professional but are open to mature students too as long as they are happy to pay council tax (we are in council tax band C).
