Large Room for 5-6 months in Hotwells Houseshare

I will be doing a 6-month placement abroad, so I'm looking for someone to replace me in a houseshare. It is a fully furnished master bedroom on the second landing of a terraced house on a quiet street in Hotwells. Furniture includes a double bed (+bedside tables), a large standing desk (electric), a velvet beanbag, a wardrobe, two chests of drawers, shoe storage spaces (2x3), and a couple of decorative frames. The TV and most plants are being moved to the living room below.

Like the living room, the bedroom features a large south-facing bay window, allowing for ample sunlight throughout the day. The house also has a kitchen with an induction stove and an electric oven. The house extension includes storage area, a washing machine, and a spacious bathroom. The backyard features a communal table with a parasol and a small furnace, making it a lovely spot for socials all year round.

You will be just a few steps from the Harbourside, with access to Spike Island / Southville via Merchants Rd. The city centre is just a 15-to 20-minute walk away, with a lovely view of the harbour. Clifton Village and the University of Bristol campus are also nearby, with quick access through Clifton Vale.

The current housemates are two women (both postgraduate students) and one man (an engineer working) with interests ranging from reading, gardening, and cooking to running, camping and hiking. We’re all friendly and happy to talk, but respect each other's personal time and space. As a household, we occasionally get together for special occasions (e. g., Eurovision, birthdays, NYE), share meals and invite people over (dinner, board game night, etc).

Rent is due every month on the 14th. I am including the broadband (500MB Fiber) since it is on my name (other bills: ~£30; no council tax). The current contract is set to end on June 13, 2026, but then it will become a 'rolling' contract. Please let us know your ideal arrival and departure dates.
