Spacious room in beautiful Clifton home

The room is very spacious with a small double (4 foot) bed. It is at the back of the house overlooking the garden and is super quiet. It has original features including a vintage brass bed (new mattress) and the walls are decorated with hand painted butterflies and birds. The house has been recently renovated in a period sympathetic style and has a new bath/shower room and kitchen.

Permanent residents are me and a friend who mostly works away so is only here occasionally. Having had a great time with the recent renovations I am now enjoying sharing my home with paying guests as well as friends and family. I would describe the household vibe as fairly quiet but friendly. We are an inclusive household and welcome LGBTQIA+ guests.

I provide bedding, towels, hot drinks and basic breakfast and if I am cooking you will be welcome to have some too. All rooms are cleaned regularly and there is a utility room with laundry facilities. You will be welcome to use the two sitting rooms as well as the large kitchen/dining room and garden.

I enjoy being sociable but am also happy to leave you in peace.. and the house is large enough that you can always find a quiet corner.

Staying here you are ideally situated for city centre working or for enjoying a quiet walk or run as I am five minutes from Whiteladies Road and one minute from the Downs. There are frequent buses to the centre and Temple Meads Station. Clifton Down Station is also within a fifteen minute walk. There are lots of lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby and we have some great arts and music venues within easy walking distance.
