Small double room in a lovely flat near Clifton

Hey! I am Hannah, I am 23 and currently living in a beautiful little 2 bed flat on the outskirts of Clifton. My lovely housemate Joanna is getting married so she is moving out next month, and her room will be available from October 15th.

Key details: The rent is £625, and bills are around £150 a month per person. (council tax being the highest one! - band C) Our contract will be from October 15th and runs for 6 months at a time, being extended at the end of each 6 months. The available room is a small unfurnished double room with an east facing window. Since this room is small there isn’t much room for a desk so it may not suit people who need to wfh.

Please note! My letting agent requires someone in employment with full references etc, unfortunately they won’t accept students.

About the flat: The flat is on the first floor (one set of stairs) and has lovely high ceilings with a large bay window at the front. There is one shared bathroom. There is a large shared living room/dining room with lots of natural light and a stunning fireplace (decorative). The kitchen is small but sweet with plenty of cupboard space, and there is a walk-in pantry style cupboard with shelving, a washing machine and freezer etc. We have just had a brand new oven and hob installed that are not shown in the photos here!

The flat is unfurnished and all of the furniture you see in the photos will be leaving along with my housemate, so whilst I will be able to do a little bit of furnishing before you move in, it will be a great chance for us to make the living room in the style we want!

Location: The Harbourside is just 5 minutes downhill, with the city centre, Clifton triangle, Clifton Village and Whiteladies road all being within a 10-20 minute walk away. We are fairly close to bus stops and Temple Meads and Clifton Down stations are in good walking distances. The flat is in the Cliftonwood and Hotwells parking zone and there are permits available to buy.

About me: I work close to the Clifton Triangle in marketing and design, and I am in the office from 9-5 most days, with the odd wfh day if I don't want to venture outside! I am trying to pick up hobbies aside from just working, but I currently love reading, painting, baking, cooking, going on little weekend adventures and spending time with my friends, pub trips, dinners (in or out!) and movie nights are a favourite.

I am fairly independent but am always up for a chat over a cup of tea or dinner. I am naturally a tidy person, so I like keeping the flat fairly clean and tidy. I have been in Bristol for 5 years now, and have been in this flat since April. It is by far my favourite place I've lived here!

About you: I would love to share with another professional female who is looking to make friends and create a lovely home. Ideally you would be respectful of our individual spaces but also up for a chat and the occasional dinner or drink out.
