Homeshare West is looking for an interesting, educated, helpful and kind woman to live with an active, sociable householder who has short-term memory loss. She lives as independently as possible with good family support. She would welcome a mature, patient, friendly woman who communicates openly and easily with excellent spoken English because of her hearing loss. Some company, shopping and cooking would be appreciated along with light cleaning.

Homesharing is a low-cost accommodation arrangement. You give ten hours of your time each week helping an older person with practical tasks, and providing companionship and overnight security. In return you get a pleasant room in a safe environment with very low outgoings.

Homesharing is a lifestyle choice, not for everyone, more suited to mature, reliable people. If you have the energy and commitment at the end of your working day to spend some of your evenings and your weekends engaging with the householder and helping out, we would like to hear from you. To be considered, you must be employed, and have the Right to Reside in the UK.

Understandably, we have a thorough interview process and will need good references and a DBS check before we can introduce you to the householder.
