Lovely double room in Clifton Village

Our flatmate is sadly leaving our lovely four-person, top-floor flat in Clifton Village and we are looking for a new tenant from Sunday 06th September (there may be some flexibility).

The room: 🛏️

A double room with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe, and chest of drawers, with a view over Bristol. As the current housemate is moving abroad she is interested in selling the desk, chair and a walking treadmill to the new tenant if interested.

Rent is £520pm with includes BT broadband. The private landlady who lives locally charges a £500 deposit, of which £50 is a non-refundable holding deposit.

The flat: 🏡

The flat has a shared lounge/kitchen, a main bathroom with a shower, an additional toilet and sink, and a small storage cupboard.

The flat is a 2-minute walk from the Clifton Suspension Bridge, a 20-minute walk from Clifton Down Station, and a 25-minute walk from Bristol City Centre.

Bills: 💰

For bills, each tenant pays £115 per month into the flat bills account which Lisa looks after. This includes Council Tax, Water, Gas, Electricity, TV License and some additional money for flat essentials such as toilet roll.

Parking: 🚘

A Clifton Village parking permit will be available to purchase for on street parking from Bristol Council once returned from the current tenant. It will cost approx. £233 per year or £58.25 for 3 months.

The housemates: 😊

Lisa is 30 and works as a GIS specialist (making maps) for an engineering company with a mixture of office and home working. She plays alto saxophone in a wind band and enjoys being in nature. She enjoys her own time, but is always up for a chat or a chill hangout in the flat.

Thea is 26 and works in sustainability for a media & publishing company, with a mixture of office and home working. She loves books and so can often be found reading in her room, but can definitely be tempted to a flat movie night.

Olivia is 32 and is an event manager and musician. Works a mix of in the office and from home, with the some guitar practice at home, but most playing happens out of the flat. Enjoys all things creative, and likes the odd cosy or local plan as well as down time.

We would love to live with a clean and tidy working professional who is friendly and great to be around in the flat, but is also independent and enjoys their own space.

We will hold in-person viewings with preferred future tenants after work on Monday 10th August. We will create a poll so you can chose a preferred viewing time but are unable to accommodate other days / times.
