Double Room in a top floor spacious flat with views of Clifton Downs – Upper Belgrave Road, Clifton (BS8)
Hi. I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in staying at a 2-bedroom flat on Upper Belgrave Road in Clifton. The flat is on the top floor (3rd floor) and has amazing views over Bristol and the Clifton Downs. The flat is quite large at around 1000sq ft and benefits from a lift, making it easy to move things in and out.
The available room is a furnished double with a double bed and large wardrobe. It’s available from mid-July. Rent is £950 per month, with bills around £230 (including 100Mbps fibre fast WiFi), so £1,180 total.
My current flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to re-sign a 9-month contract with the landlord starting mid-July. You’d be taking their place on the tenancy, so it’s ideal if you’re looking for a medium/longer term place
The flat includes:
• A large kitchen/living room with amazing views
• A well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee machines, air fryer and cookware, utensils and cutlery.
• Two bathrooms. Large bathroom with a bath and toilet which will be all yours. The second bathroom with a shower is for both of us.
• I have a personal funded Sky account with Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, TNT Sports etc, which you’re more than welcome to use
• On-street parking (permit required from council for around £50)
There’s a desk set up in the hall if you need to work from home. Would prefer someone with a hybrid work pattern rather than fully remote, just to keep the space feeling balanced.
Whiteladies Road is just 200 yards away, with plenty of shops, cafes, supermarkets, pubs. There are excellent transport links getting into the city centre and the surrounding area.
A bit about me: I’m a Project Manager working full-time in an office in Bristol. I enjoy keeping active and spend my free time playing tennis, going to the gym, surfing, sailing, skiing, and watching sports – mainly rugby and tennis. I’m tidy, sociable, and like to keep a relaxed and friendly home. I’m looking for someone similar – reasonably social, respectful, and happy to contribute to keeping the place clean and comfortable.
Most of the light appliances in the flat are either mine or the landlord’s eg TV and coffee machines so what you see in the photos will be in the flat to use. The only belongings of my flatmate’s are the personal belongings in the double bedroom and his piano.
The landlord is very helpful and will just need to do the standard background checks prior to signing the 9 month contract. Drop me a message and we can sort out a look at the flat.
