Description
We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our lovely home in an unbeatable location in Clifton, as Gabe is heading back to the US (boo!)
Location
• Very close to Bristol city centre, Cabot Circus, and Broadmead (15-20 min walk or bus)
• 2-5 minutes from Bristol Museum, UoB's Wills Memorial Building and Park Street
• 5-10 minutes’ walk to Clifton Village and Whiteladies Road
• 20-30 minutes’ walk to the Downs
• Excellent transport links: bus stop right outside (8, 5, 505), and Clifton Down station is 10–15 minutes away
• Big Sainsbury’s 5-10 minutes’ walk away with loads more buses going from there (1, 2, 8 and others)
• Tons of food options nearby - supermarkets, restaurants, fruit & veg markets - plus plenty of shops, cafés, and more
About the Flat:
Our building is an old Art Deco block from the 1930s - it’s full of character, a bit run down in places, but we do our best to keep it homely and tidy. The flat itself has beautiful wooden flooring throughout and a small balcony which is lovely in the summer. Because it’s an older building the kitchen and bathroom are a little worn, but fully functional. The kitchen is small but has loads of storage. Appliances: washing machine (no tumble dryer), fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, etc. If you're after something ultra-modern and pristine, this probably isn’t the place - but if you appreciate charm and character, it’s lovely.
About Us:
We’re a friendly, chilled-out household. Not a party flat, but we enjoy socialising - games in the living room, countryside drives, walks and hikes, pubs, exhibitions, galleries, etc. We’ve got a PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox and board games (including chess!) Friends and family are always welcome over! We’re looking for someone sociable, considerate, and relaxed - ideally someone who wants to be part of a friendly home rather than just renting a room.
Tom: Into art, design and all things creative. From Wales. Loves the countryside and coast. Spends lots of time photographing, working in galleries and developing film in the darkroom.
Ben: Football lover and gamer. Enjoys getting outdoors, going on walks and hikes, and exploring nature.
Bills & Boring Bits:
Rent is £517pp at the moment. It's likely to rise to around £550, which is why we’re advertising it at that rate. The agency hasn’t confirmed yet, but better a pleasant surprise than a shock!
Bills: Gas, electricity, water, internet and council tax come to around £130 per month on top of rent.
If you’re friendly, easy-going, and looking for a relaxed and sociable home, drop us a message - we’d love to meet you!
