My flatmate is moving out in August, so am looking for a new flatmate to move in.
The flat is on Canynge Road, a short walk from the suspension bridge. It has two double bedrooms, one bathroom, and an open-plan living room with and kitchen area. The living room gets plenty of sunlight through the south-facing windows and gets good airflow when the windows are open. The flat comes with a storage room in the basement and many amenities, including a washer-dryer machine and a dishwasher.
The room is available from 26th August. The expenses are as follows, and for simplicity, I’ve calculated them for each person per month:
• Rent: £750
• Council tax (band B): £87.95
• Wi-Fi ~ £15
• Electricity: ~ £30
• Gas: ~ £35
Rent is revised annually on 26th September, and this year it will increase to £787.50. Therefore, the total comes to around £960 per person per month.
Additionally, the deposit for the flat is equivalent to 5 weeks of rent, and there is a £50 charge for changing the tenant in the current tenancy agreement. The letting agent, which manages this property, will be doing the new tenant referencing and right-to-rent checks before signing the agreement. The room is available to professionals who can show proof of income to the letting agent.
I work in Finance and enjoy cycling, tennis, padel and lots of other sports. I love watching Formula 1 on the weekends and going to the pub with friends. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who is clean & tidy, sociable and enjoys the odd trip to the pub/cafe - and enjoys watching sport. Also, I am looking for an individual who is ideally office-based.
