Description
Double room available in 2-bed flat in Clifton Village, next to Victoria Square, and a short walk from the suspension bridge. The bedroom is in a spacious flat with lots of cafes, pubs and transport links close by. It’s also on a very quiet road with friendly neighbours. The city centre is a 20 minute walk and temple meads is a 35 minute walk.
The first floor flat has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (bath over shower) and a big living room / kitchen area with dining table and sofa. The flat is fully equipped with an assortment of kitchen items, white goods, iron, and a washing machine. Everything is in working order, and the private landlord is very helpful and quick at getting things sorted.
The bedroom comes unfurnished (the bed frame and chest of draws may be available if you want them). There is space for a double bed and furniture. You will also have space to put a desk in the living room to work from and space for a tv (I have one in my room) and access to more storage in the flat.
Road parking is available via permit (CV) with the council. A bus also runs every 10-15 minutes from the end of the road through to the city centre and on to temple meads.
Bills cost around £200 a month per person on average across the year:
Council Tax (Band C) - £100.50
Energy - £40-60
Water - £33.37
WiFi - £10 (subject to change, I will need to set up a new new one when my current flatmate leaves)
Rent is every 10th of the month, so move in is available from 10th August, but an earlier pro-rata arrangement can be agreed with my current flatmate if required.
About me. I’m 27 and work as a project manager in the civil service. I’ve been living in the flat for just under 2 years now and love it. Outside of work I’m into football, music, running, walks and going to the local pubs. I tend to work from home (using a desk in my bedroom) 2-3 days a week. I also have a girlfriend, who lives in London, who visits each month. Equally that means I’m away in London every month too, and visit my family in Cornwall regularly, so there will be times when you have the flat to yourself. I’m looking for someone who is clean/tidy, happy to chill together in the flat, but also has their own things going on too.
The private landlord will require a guarantor, bank statement and a letter from your employer for the contract. Which will be set-up as a joint tenancy agreement.
If you’re interested, please drop me a message, with a bit about yourself, and we can set up a viewing! These will be available from next week (w/c 27th July 2026).
