Description
We are looking for a new flatmate in our Cotham flat! The room will be available on the 1st December.
A bit about the rooms, the flat, the house, living in the area and your flatmates.
The Rooms
The room is bright and spacious. It's large enough for a double bed, storage space and a desk if you need to work from home. The rooms are unfurnished so please note you'd need to bring your own stuff.
The Flat
The flat is airy, high ceilinged, roomy for 3 people and can accommodate partners staying over too (but not suitable for a couple). The kitchen will retain all the appliances and utensils to cook and there is plenty of storage for food. The living room is large and a great room for entertaining. The bathroom has everything you need.
The House
There is an outdoor area at the back of the building which is shared with the other flats. We made a seating area from pallets a few years back and it's a great space for BBQs. There is a raised bed big enough for planting some vegetables which again we share with the other flats. It is currently very overgrown but if you fancy a gardening challenge then this could be it!
We keep bikes and surf boards on the stairwell/in the flat which keeps them behind a locked front door. There is parking on the road outside and the permits are reasonably priced.
The area
The flat is within a 5 minute walk from the highstreets on St. Michael's Hill and Cotham Hill. Clifton Down, Whiteladies Road, Stokes Croft and the Arches are a tiny bit further away. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Downs, Clifton Village, the Harbourside and Kings Street.
Josh
I'm a 27 year paralegal who moved to Bristol a few years ago from Brighton. I like going to watch live music and sport, playing sport and going to the gym, playing some board games and having some flat drinks. Ideal flatmate who would get involved in flat meals and drinks!
Ben
I am a 25 year old PhD student at the University of Bristol. I enjoy bouldering, running, a surf when possible, watching sport (TV and live) and cooking group dinners. Looking for someone who would join on any or all of the above activities, but it's certainly not a deal breaker if you don't!
Please get in touch if you're interested in either of the rooms and we can arrange a video viewing!
I will wait a few days and then try and get back to everyone who has messaged.
Bills are not included but total at around £150 including internet and council tax. (Please note that we will be splitting the council tax between all flatmates regardless of student status).
