Bright double room, houseplant & garden haven 🪴

☀️🪴Hey! I am currently seeking a new preferably female housemate to join me in a 2 bed house in Cotham! Available at start of February or earlier if possible.

I'm ideally looking for more than just a housemate.. it would be great to live with a new pal! Someone who is up for some social time out and about, film nights in, sharing cooking etc, who also respectful of personal time and space. This is a relaxed chilled house so would be great to have someone with that vibe.

About the house! Its a 2 bedroom house with a small spare room, bathroom with an electric shower and bath, garage, porch, kitchen looking out onto the garden and big living/dining room. There is also a lovely small garden which I have tidied up and grown lots of flowers. It is definitely the best part of the house when the weather is nice 😎

The house is on a quiet road in Cotham, a perfect distance between Whiteladies, Gloucester rd, BRI, the Uni, and the city centre making it easy to get to all the places you could possibly need! Our neighbours are friendly with a mix of families and older residents, which does mean that there is an expected level of responsibility for outdoor spaces and low noise levels. So no late night music/ roudy partys etc...

I'm looking for someone who is proactively clean, tidy and considerate with their space, willing to share chores and help maintain the house to a high standard. The house has its quirks so it important to keep on top of certain things.

I have spent a fair amount of time and energy making the house a homey little nest - getting furniture/ diy/ painting walls/ putting up lots of art, so would love someone else who is houseproud and would help to maintain it !

The room is a good size with a double bed, built in wardrobe and large windows looking onto the garden -where you'll get the evening sun. The room comes with the bed, and we do have some random bits of furniture from previous tenants.

The rent is £600 a month, not including bills- which are currently around £180. I do have to be quite energy conscious atm becuase of costs, it would be much appreciated to live with someone who understands this and is also conscious of usage and costs.

There is a deposit of £600 (DPS protected) and the contract will initially be for 6 months, then on a monthly rolling basis thereafter.

A bit about me! I'm Amy, I'm 27 and I work for a conservation charity in Bristol. I've been in this house for 3 years, I'm an animal lover, eco- conscious, and adore houseplants! I do also love gardening and spending lots of time outside exploring. I also love to cook, I am a veggie and if you are that would be cool- but it's not a necessity.
