Description
Hey, I'm Amy! Thanks for your interest!
About the flat:
The room itself unfurnished, but most of the furniture in the communal areas is mine (so hopefully not too haggard looking!). I'm moving the rooms around so what is currently the lounge is the room available (and the big bedroom will become the lounge). I've included pictures of my room (the smaller one) which is a similar size for reference. We're getting new windows throughout in June and I'll be painting the house after that so it'll all be fresh. It's a 2 bed flat, so you'd just be sharing with me! Space-wise, we've got a balcony off the living room, which is lovely in the summer! There's also a designated off road parking space, I don't currently drive so it's yours if you need it.
The area:
It's a 10-ish minute walk into the Centre/Stokes Croft/Clifton so really handy, but also surprisingly quiet for how central it is. There's some cute pubs, lil parks and a co-op nearby too.
Boring (but important) stuff:
Bills come to around £200 each (including council tax) per month. It's managed through a letting agent on a rolling contract, although looking for someone interested in staying long term (at least 1 year). The letting agents require a tenant on a salary earning at £15,450 per annum (15x the monthly rent for the whole flat) they will be subject to reference checks too. Deposit will be safely secured.
I'm looking for someone to move in ideally between 1st-4th August as the 4th is when the rent comes out each month.
About me:
I'm 27, so my hard-core partying days are (mostly) gone haha. I love having people round occasionally, but it's more for dinner than anything too mad, generally looking for chilled house vibes (especially on weekdays as I work 9-5, and start work at 6.30am on 3/5 days). I work for an energy charity doing community engagement stuff, so I'm very interested in the environment/sustainability/wildlife and generally being outdoors. Big lover of hiking, but do a fair bit of outdoor swimming when I get the chance, and hoping to get into paddle boarding this summer. I also lead butterfly surveys in a local nature reserve! I'm a tidy room tidy mind kinda gal, so hoping to live with someone that's happy to pitch in with regular cleaning/housey jobs. I'm also a non-smoker, so I'm hoping to live with someone who doesn't smoke either (if poss!). I love cooking shared meals and hanging out sometimes, so would love to become friends with whoever moves in, but also respect others needs for peace/quiet/space where needed. Whew, I think that's everything!
Thanks so much for reading! If interested in the room, are you able to tell me a bit about yourself in your message? 🌞
