Double room to rent in a garden flat

Hello!

I am looking for a housemate as my current housemate is moving to Australia early next year. The housemate moving is the property owner and I will be managing the property whilst she is away - this means quick repairs and no agencies to go through!

The room available is a double room in a garden flat. We are super close to the pedestrian area of Cotham Hill (great bars and cafes!), as well as being close to Whiteladies Road, the Downs, Clifton Village, and Gloucester Road. We share a bathroom, living room, and kitchen. We've got a large storage area in the flat as well which is used as a utility room (and drinks storage!) which can comfortably store bikes too.

The bills are not included and come to around £160 per month and we are in Council Tax Band B. There is on street permit parking.

I have a fully remote role so predominantly work from home, other than a 1-2 days per week. As most people are, I'm looking for a housemate who wants to call the place home and will look after the property. I'd prefer to live with another professional female too. Ideally the new tenant wouldn't often WFH, but for the right person I am sure we can figure something out! There is only a small office area, hence not quite being big enough for two people to work remotely.

I am 33 and work in financial software. I moved to Bristol just over 2 years ago and I love it! I have a good bunch of friends around the city and enjoy being part of Christ Church in Clifton. I enjoy mostly quieter evenings, but do love finding new bars and cafes around Bristol :)

The move in date is around mid-January, but can be flexible. The room is available furnished or unfurnished too.
