Double room for rent in Staple Hill

I am Miriam (F37) and I live with my small cat Blue (F13 maybe???) in my 2.5 bedroom house in Staple Hill. I've lived here for almost 10 years and am looking for a lodger!

The house has a spacious living room, with TV (and Netflix, Prime etc), highspeed Wifi network, a large dining room and a tidy kitchen with all of the normal amenities. The kitchen has a large glass sliding door out into a small garden area, with a patio area, fire pit and a shed for bike storage.

The room is a double, with large windows looking out onto the garden letting in loads of natural light. It is neatly furnished with a new bed and has plenty of storage with a built in wardrobe/cupboard. There is a set of shelves for books and a set of drawers. The room can fit a desk and chair if required, but not supplied.

There is a shared bathroom with a bath/shower, good water pressure and some shared toiletries storage.

The house is located adjacent to Staple Hill High Street which has plenty of shops and pubs but the road is quiet. It is also has easy access to Bristol city centre via the 49/x bus or the Bristol-Bath cycle path which is a 2min cycle away.

I love climbing, being in the mountains and biking. I try and spend as much time as we can outdoors. I'm looking for someone who's pretty chilled, clean, tidy and friendly.

You must also be ok with cats as Blue who loves a cuddle but also can be quite nervous. I love travelling/going away so am always looking for a cat sitter for Blue so if you're cool with looking after her for a reduced rent every so often, that would be grand!

I work for the emergency services and work shifts including night-shifts with lots of mid-week days off, so appreciate a quiet house when I'm on nights or having to wake up early for day shifts.

I'm looking for someone to move in from September.
