Hi!
We have one small double room available for rent in Greenbank as sadly our housemate Howl is leaving for pastures new. The room is mostly unfurnished (tbd with departing housemate). There is on-street parking but it can get busy!
We want to find the right person so will leave the advert open as long as we can. We will be holding viewings on the eve of Tuesday 17th December (possibly with some on Sunday 15th Dec if there is lots of interest).
The house is located just by the lovely Greenbank Cemetery and less than a minute from the cycle path. There are 4 bedrooms, one bathroom, an open living room/kitchen area and small mainly paved garden/yard out the back with a small bike shelter and little shed. There is limited storage and only space for one bike each.
We’re hoping for someone who is relaxed and has experience of living communally / chipping in with the usual house stuff. It's a lovely place and we like to take good care of it!
We are a warm, inclusive bunch (remaining housemates are called Ruth, Nell and Ben). We are all in our mid to late 30s and work in different areas including social care and education. We are looking to keep a similar balance in the house as we have shared a nice dynamic for the last 2 years. Ideally hoping for someone around the same age/stage who is looking for a calm and homely space to live in and who is up for occasional house dinners and hangouts.
It's not a party house, we all work 9-5ish or earlier jobs, so generally stuff is pretty calm by 10pm in the week and we are looking for someone who is quite peaceful and respectful of noise travelling in a shared house. We mostly work daytime weekdays so this would suit someone on a similar pattern and who doesn't work only from home/remotely.
General house interests include cooking/bread making/ plants/gardening/music/films/being outdoors/making stuff etc. etc. We are mostly vegetarian, so this would not suit someone wanting to cook meat often.
The room will be available and rent + bills payable from early/mid January.
Rent is £400 + £110 bills per month on top. So £510ish all in. Deposit is £400.
Look forward to hearing from you :)
