Hi,
I have both lodgers moving out soon, so two rooms going.
One's a large 5x3m double, furnished, the other about 3x3m, both with bathroom shared with other lodger, and kitchen diner and lounge shared between the three of us.
The vibe is house proud and respectful, mix of social and independent. and want you to be, ie who'll not leave dishes out overnight (there's a dishwasher) and do their fair share of communal cleaning. Someone fairly communal who'll like to share meals occasionally, have people round for dinner, go out for walks/swims/cycles/drinks etc, but not all the time. Someone who mainly has their own independence too!
It'd be nice to stimulate each other with our interests, and thought provoking conversations rather than someone glued to the telly (there's one in the lounge that rarely gets used!)
I particularly welcome creative folk.
Id say the house is a peaceful place and not for loud party types! That's not to say we like to go out though. Also I'd rather not have smokers, sorry.
Rent is £410/450 +bills, so someone energy conscious- ie someone willing to put a jumper on and be fine with the thermostat at 17°. FYI, council tax band A, water and Vodafone fibre broadband come in at £68 each and winter energy about £60 too.
It's a nice house, and I like to think pretty relaxed, but just to be safe I suggest a 3 month trial to see if you fit in ok.
It looks like the room will be available from mid July. I'd rather wait to get the right person.
