Lovely double room with en suite bath and shower room in family home in the heart of the friendly neighbourhood of Greenbank (Easton), Bristol. The bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed with incredibly comfy mattress, a wall-mounted fold-down laptop desk and plenty of storage.

Also living in the home – home owner solo mother (44, university lecturer, works from home 3 or 4 days per week, loves biking and surfing and nature) and sweet, funny, entertaining, head strong 5yr old daughter. We have a separate family bathroom so no need for any bathroom queues in the morning!

Rest of house: Cosy sitting room and bright sunny open plan kitchen/ diner (with dish washer and washer-dryer). Kitchen opens out to a small but perfectly formed, grassy South facing suntrap of a garden.

Would suit someone who enjoys the slight disarray of a family home and likes children. Ideally somebody who is willing to babysit sometimes (either occasionally, or we can negotiate a reduction in rent for the commitment to babysit once a week or so). Would like someone who goes out to work and rarely/never works from home. Someone who enjoys good conversation and laughter but who is also happy with companionable down time after kiddy bedtime.

The house is right in the heart of the Greenbank (Easton) community - the neighbours are all lovely. There is free parking on the road outside, and a great pub one minute across the road. It's a stone's throw from St Mark's Road for all your shopping and cafe life, as well as multiple pubs, restaurants and cafes all around.

Close to M32 which makes it very accessible from M5 and M4 by road. There's a train station at Stapleton Rd (a few minutes’ walk) which takes you all over Bristol and beyond. There are good bus links around Bristol. You can also cycle to Temple Meads or the city centre within 10-15 mins straight down the cycle path (which also takes you to Bath in the other direction).

The rent includes all bills (electric, gas, water, broadband, TV license, TV package, council tax, and a cleaner who comes once a fortnight).
