Description
About the flat:
£665 rent + ~£145 bills. Spacious double room in a 2-bed flat on St Marks Road, Easton—near Sweet Mart and Garden of Easton. The living room is up a ladder (you get used to it quickly, and it’s cosy!). No bike storage indoors unfortunately—bikes must be locked to the railings outside. My current flatmate uses a cover and it’s been totally fine, but I know that’s a dealbreaker for some.
About me:
I work in nature conservation—mainly office-based with the odd WFH day. Big fan of a quiet night in with a good series, but still up for spontaneous pints and the occasional big one (mostly techno). I also sing in a band.
I’m generally pretty busy and out a lot in the evenings/weekends. I like a tidy space—not obsessive, but I like things to have their place. I’m a sociable introvert: I love company but need solo time to recharge.
About you:
Looking for someone easygoing who I’ll get along with—ideally a new friend, not just a flatmate. No fixed ideas, but probably someone with some shared interests, who’s happy to hang out sometimes but also has their own life. I think it’s healthiest when we both get a natural mix of time together and time alone.
