Description
We’re looking for a lovely new housemate to fill a double room in our four-person home in Easton (BS5), just off Stapleton Road and round the corner from St Marks Road and Greenbank.
You’ll be sharing with three girls, Alice, Alice and Alex aged 27-28 (yes you did read that right but we promise this is less confusing than it sounds!) We’re a friendly, sociable house that like to hang out lots watching TV and films on our projector, having bonfires, chilling in the garden, going for pub trips and a boogie and having the occasional party. We’re looking for someone sociable and chill who wants to call this place their home and get stuck in with house stuff, rather than keep to themselves.
Details:
The room will be available from 15 December 2024
Rent is £440/ month not including bills
Deposit is one month’s rent
Bills are around £100 a month
The initial contract is for a minimum 6 months, then it’s a rolling monthly contract
This is a private rental so we have a private landlady but she is very friendly
About you:
We’re looking for a like-minded individual that wants to be part of a friendly and sociable household, who likes to keep their space clean and tidy and wants to hang out, watch films and tv together, visit the pub, have the occasional party and just generally hang out!
About the room/house:
The room is a decent sized unfurnished double room on the ground floor and has lots of inbuilt storage.
There is an upstairs bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, and downstairs bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and sink.
The kitchen is fully equipped so don’t worry if you don’t have any kitchen stuff! Washing machine, microwave, fridge/ freezer, cooker, blender, air fryer, coffee machine and more!
The living room is a decent size with two comfy sofas, a projector for movie nights and many board games.
There is a lovely, good sized garden which has a huge veg patch, a nice space to have people over and a fire pit and a bbq too.
About us:
Here's a little bit of info about us and what it's like to live with us from Emma (our current housemate who is sadly leaving us):
Alex is 27 and works as an occupational therapist in a brain injury unit. She’s a ray of sunshine and easily one of the funniest people you’ll meet. You’ll most likely find her with a hair mask in, munching on crisps and dip, and watching TikToks of Alison Hammond falling over. Not to mention, she’s the strongest person I know, a pro at shoveling mud and handling a drill.
Alice F is 28 and a freelance graphic designer and illustrator. She’s probably the most creative person you’ll meet, always coming up with ingenious ideas and storage solutions. You’re likely to find her making an oaty coffee, doing something crafty, tattooing herself, or... on the floor (she falls over a lot). She also loves life drawing, pottery, yoga, being in nature, pubs, live music, festivals, and a good old boogie.
Alice GB is 28 and is a talented wordsmith working as a copywriter in advertising. She writes her own blog, which is genuinely one of the best reads around. Also a culinary genius, you’ll often find her cooking up a five-course storm in the kitchen on a random weekday night. She's quirky in the best way and loves being in nature, drawing and being arty, wild swimming, car boots, parties, festivals and pubs.
