Description
We have now found our long term lodger.
However they won't be moving in until the end of February - so if you're looking for somewhere temporarily until then please get in touch.
We're looking for a lodger. It will be living with the landlady, her daughter and one other lodger (and one dog and five cats). I'm a screenwriter, my daughter is at college studying animal management and our early 20s female lodger is a law student.
The following would be the ideal candidate, but I'm absolutely open to other possibilities:
• female,
• employed or a student,
• over 24 years old,
• we would consider someone with a pet (although not cats),
• work/study in some kind of creative/arts/drama industry
• be a motivated individual who likes to be busy
You would need to be a tidy person and a good communicator and happy to cook a meal for the house to share together once a week (we take this in turns). Ours is a quiet and organised home and we would welcome someone who would appreciate such an environment.
I write from a room at the bottom of the garden and spend a lot of my time staring out of the window while I process stuff and need that to be uninterrupted time. I get up at 5am and am very active (walking the dog, visiting the gym etc). It would be great to have another person living in the house who is easy to get on with and shares some interests, so I don’t become a total hermit (for example: film, art, literature, knitting/dressmaking), but who also lives a busy life and won't be sitting in their room on their computer 24/7.
You will have you own large furnished double room and will share the bathroom with the other lodger. You will have use of the kitchen/dining area as well as the garden (weather permitting). The sitting room and the loft rooms/bathroom are for use by my daughter and me only.
We are looking for someone from the beginning of February.
Please do get in touch if you think you'd be a good match - we'd love to meet you!!
P. S. We are in the process of remodelling the house and it will be deep cleaned on completion. I’ll post an image of the revamped room by 5th January..
Council Tax Band B.
