Hi!
We have a small double room for rent in Greenbank, Easton as sadly our housemate Nell is leaving for pastures new. The room is mostly unfurnished (tbc with departing housemate). There is on-street parking but it can get busy.
The house is located just by the lovely Greenbank Cemetery and less than a minute from the bristol-bath cycle path. There are 4 bedrooms, one shared bathroom, an open living room/kitchen area and small mainly paved garden/yard out the back with a small bike shelter and little shed. There is limited storage and only space for one bike each.
We’re hoping for someone who is relaxed and has experience of living communally, and who is happy chipping in with the usual house stuff. It's a lovely home and we like to take good care of it.
We are a warm, queer friendly, inclusive bunch (remaining housemates are Ruth, Hannah and Chris) and a lovely cat called Gilbert. We are all in our mid to late 30s and work in different areas including social care and education. We are looking to keep a similar balance in the house as we have shared a nice dynamic over the last few years.
Ideally hoping for someone around the same age/stage of life who is looking for a calm and homely space to live in and who is up for occasional house dinners and hangouts.
It's not a party house, we all work 9-5ish or earlier jobs, so generally stuff is pretty calm by 10pm in the week and we are looking for someone who is quite peaceful and respectful of noise travelling in a shared house. We mostly work daytime weekdays so this would suit someone on a similar pattern.
General house interests include cooking/bread baking/plants/gardening/music/films/tv/being outdoors/making stuff etc. One or more housemates are vegetarian, so this would not suit someone wanting to cook meat often.
The room will be available and rent + bills payable from the beginning of April.
We look forward to hearing from you :)
