BS5 - King size bed in colourful, Queer home 💕

Our lovely lodger has moved out and we are looking for someone to move in to our spare room from beginning of April. Full details below:

ABOUT US:
Pádraig & Ivan here - Irish and Spanish couple of 9 years. We have two cats; Artemis & Hecate, brother and sister with a dynamic to match. Both are incredibly docile and sweet (once you become friends!). We run our business together and work from home so during the week we are home more or less all the time. We are very social and love meeting new people, having friends over, hosting dinner parties, movie nights, drinks and the occasional party. We are both very into our music, especially electronic music and all that comes with it: festivals, nights out, mixing sessions and a cheeky afters from time to time. In our day to day we work hard, and like to keep a clean and tidy house, this is really important for me and while I’m not militant and feel rotas are unnecessary, it’s crucial for me to be on the same page with people I’m living with on this. We both are social smokers and we want to live with someone in the same boat (I don’t think someone who smokes cigarettes regularly would work for us). We’re a queer house and our preference is to live with LGBTQ people or cis women but this isn’t set in stone. We are a very open minded, non religious, progressive household and misalignment here is a deal breaker for us!

Ultimately we want to live with someone who feels comfortable and at home here. We like a casual vibe, easy vibe and for you to do you, but also for us to have a friendly dynamic and get involved from time to time/when it suits.

THE HOUSE:
Victorian 3 bedroom terrace in Eastville.
- Bright, Furnished Room with King Size bed (with ample storage), built in wardrobe, and desk.
- Shared Living room space with a SUPER comfy, modular sofa, Phillips Hue lighting, large, wall mounted TV with Apple TV (also Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more)
- Shared kitchen with American fridge-freezer (with water/ice), dishwasher, washer dryer, DeLonghi espresso machine, breakfast bar and ample storage.
- Spacious main bathroom with shower and bath (we have an en suite so this will be for you (almost) exclusively unless there are guests over!
- Sunny South facing garden with decking, fire pit, and hot tub (in summer)
- Secure Bike Shed to the front of the house
- No designated parking space but the street generally has places to park.
- We don’t take security deposit but ask for two months up front (the second month can be used as rent for your last month if you give notice).
- Council tax band B

LOCATION:
Situated between smack-bang between Easton and Eastville; just a few minutes walk from Eastgate with Tesco, IKEA, M&S & more on your doorstep. Stapleton, and St Marks Road are a very short walk away with an abundance of pubs, cafes and restaurants in close proximity (10 minute walk to Stapleton Road Station).
You also have Eastville Park just a 10 minute walk up the road. You don’t really need to leave the area if you don’t want to!
