Double Room in Professional House

This is a shared house with 3 other working professionals currently living there. I own the house and have lived there for 6 years but I moved to Cardiff 3 years ago to study.

There is a house cat called pixel - she is very friendly but obviously you need to be ok living with a cat!

The house has 4 double bedrooms, and a spare bedroom which we don't rent out - this has a single bed for guests, and is sometimes used as an office during the day. The bedroom being advertised here is on the middle floor (1st floor).

There are 2 bathrooms in the house, one on the first floor and one on the 2nd floor. One has a walk in shower, the other has a bath and shower. Both have recently been resealed and repainted. The ground floor has a large living/dining room (this used to be 2 rooms, but had a wall knocked through and archway put in), a kitchen, and a utility room. The house has Hue lights installed in most rooms, including motion sensor activated lights in the porch and both landings.

The house comes with a 49" 4K smart TV, electric reclining leather sofa, extendible dining table with 4 chairs.

The bedroom advertised has recently been redecorated, with an open wardrobe (handmade by myself and an old housemate!) and the carpet was removed to reveal the original hardwood floor (which we sanded and varnished). The room has a large window overlooking our garden and park beyond the garden. The boiler is situated in this room, which we have built the wardrobe around to hide from view and contain any noise. The room comes with a desk, chair, bed, and large chest of drawers. I am happy to buy any other essential furnishings for the room as you require.


All the communal space flooring has been redone recently - ground floor has oak LVT flooring throughout the kitchen porch and utility area, and new carpeting in the living room / dining room, and the stairs and landings.

The kitchen/utility room has a washing machine, dish washer, 2 fridges and 2 freezers, a gas oven with gas hobs. There is a gas combi boiler for hot water and central heating, which is controlled via a smart heating system and can be controlled from your phone.

There is a garden, with paved area good for barbecues over the summer! I pay for a gardener to come regularly and keep it tidy.

Heating, water, electricity, council tax and TV licence bills come out of a house account, and I let the tenants know the cost each month. This has cost ~£80 a month per person over the past 9 months.
Broadband is handled between the tenants.

Grant, 27, keep to myself a lot but equally enjoy doing house activities (cooking, games, series etc). Hobbies are climbing, cycling and film photography when feeling pretentious enough.
Would always appreciate someone that would feed Pixel when I can't be there!

Holly, (She/Her) 21, work a lot (including some weekends), exclusively wear pyjamas when at home, enjoy cooking, walks, nature, yoga, socialising.

Pixel, 6, hobbies include staring out of windows or at walls, pretending like I haven't been fed and meowing at feeding time. Will fall asleep on you at awkward times and get the zoomies at 9pm for no reason. Still struggle with cat flap
