Semi-self contained flat in Fishponds/Downend

Hello!

Garden flat to let for £900pcm. Advertised from beginning of April, but can be a little later if required. The room would be available from April to the end of July for certain, with a possibility to extend. There is a degree of uncertainty after that, as we are looking to move house in the next year (but nothing before late summer); when and if any decision were made in that regard, we would be certain to give plenty of notice.

It's separate from the house above with its own entrance, and staircase joining to the main house. It has a double bedroom, kitchenette (with sink, fridge, microwave/oven, kettle and storage), sitting/dining room and shower room. The shared spaces (with us) are: a good sized, well furnished kitchen upstairs for cooking anything more elaborate and the garden. It also contains the washing machine, which is shared.

The flat would suit someone who would like their own space, but doesn't mind sharing some facilities upstairs with housemates (us!)

We both live in the main house above, and are both professionals, Archie is a doctor, and Alice works for Bristol City council, but will be on maternity leave. We have a two year old daughter Effie, are expecting a baby at the beginning of March. We also have a small feisty cat called Hestu. We are enthusiastic cooks and enjoy spending time in the garden/veg patch. We both enjoy spending time outdoors whenever the opportunity arises, whether it be a BBQ or week away in the countryside.

The room has become available as our housemate/lodger who has been with us for some time has now found a place of his own.

There's off street parking, as well as a spare bike/bike storage available if required (the Bristol Bath railway path is just around the corner, making the journey into town a breeze!).

Fishponds high street is a ten minute walk away, it has a great selection of shops for daily essentials, and is starting to collect a fairly decent selection of bars and cafes! It's a great place to live.

* Bills are included with the rent, and include council tax, water, gas/electric, TV license and internet, which would otherwise come to around £100 a month on a per person basis.
