Sunny double bedroom

Sunny double bedroom available in semi detached house on a quiet road in Fishponds. Females only with no regular over night visitors - the odd friend is welcome to stay in your room as long as you check with me first and no more than once per month. Also available as a Monday - Friday let (for less rent), just message me to discuss costs. Living with me - Zoe (a young 42) and my little girl - Ottilie (6). We have a bright, comfortable and clean house with a living room (you could use this sometimes but ideally not every night) and kitchen/dining room with sliding doors onto a lovely sunny back garden with table and chairs. There is one main bathroom plus a downstairs loo. There is room on the drive for a car and a gate behind which a bike can be locked.

In the room there is a comfy double bed with built in storage drawer underneath. A double wardrobe, a double chest of drawers and a bedside table. The bedding in the photo is not included.

We’re looking for a quiet, friendly and tidy lodger who is happy to live with a child and goes to work/uni almost all week (doesn’t work or study from home for more than 1 day per week). Single females only (no males or couples). I’m friendly but like my own space, my little girl and I tend to eat early and I work from home 2 days per week and am in the office 2 days. Ottilie is at school and is a friendly confident little girl. In my spare time I love doing yoga, reading, gardening, cooking, camping, hiking and cycling, I also do quite a few creative things. And together Otti and I get out and about a lot on bikes and we play games and do painting etc.

Fishponds high street has a Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl, also other independent shops and cafes such a whole food shop, FED, The Craft Egg and lots of charity shops. We’re two minutes cycle from the Bristol cycle path straight into town and at the bottom of the road is the river Frome with a lovely walk to either Eastville park and lake or to Snuff Mills and Oldbury court. Buses run from the main road straight into town and take about 15/20 minutes. Driving takes about 15/20 minutes and cycling on the bike path takes 15/20 minutes. We’re also a 15 minute cycle from UWE Frenchay Campus and a 20 minute cycle to the MOD in Stoke Gifford.

There is no smoking or vaping in the house or garden. And no over night visitors on a regular basis and always check with me first.

The room is available from 4th March for at least 3 months but possibly longer.
