Large double room for concious living in Fishponds

Hi, I'm Hamish and I'm looking for someone to rent the second bedroom in my house.. The room is a spacious and light room with three windows and a built in wardrobe. There is a kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom that will be shared. The house is a short walk from Eastville Park, between Easton and Fishponds.. It has a sunny garden for the summer and a working fireplace in the living room for cosy winters.

I am a buddhist practitioner and my intention with this house is to create a sacred space that supports flourishing and growth. I am generally quiet, while also I love to play and create music (not loudly) and am be very passionate about philosophy, spirituality and writing. I try to live intentionally and ethically. I also host a meditation group once a month on Sunday mornings in the living room.

It is important that anyone living here also wants to live consciously and intentionally, and appreciates how a clean house with the right energy can hold us and provide stability as we pursue the more challenging things in life. Creating such a space takes some time, energy and cooperation from all house members, not perfectionism, but intentionality.

I work at home and am open to others that do too (though you would have to work in your room, there is space for a desk)l. Well trained pets considered but I'd have to meet them.

I am looking for someone who shares at least some of these values, is self aware, and would enjoy living in a space that is setup to support spiritual practice (and join my meditation group would be awesome too). I always intend to create a balance between community (sharing meals and hanging out) and personal privacy, which are both essential.

Communication is essential for health co-living and I expect to live with someone emotionally mature enough to talk openly about problems that arise so we work together to find a solution that works for everyone and avoids the build up of resentment.

£800pcm will include all bills, council tax (band B) and maintenance including wifi and a bi-weekly cleaner. I keep the house well and fix things promptly. The room is mostly furnished but there is no mattress on the bed currently, I am happy to talk bout furniture and work around what you already have or need.
