Looking for a new tenant to take the large double room from 23rd November, as our housemate is leaving. Mature students are welcome if you are willing to pay council tax. (Band C)
It is £575 pcm plus bills which are around £180. The room is unfurnished.
The house is a semi detached 3 bed, with 1 bathroom and a WC, a shared kitchen and a living room with dining area and a small spare room upstairs which we use for drying clothes. There is also a lot of storage space throughout the house. The garden is a nice big size, so great for the summer, BBQs and gatherings. There is also a large shed at the bottom so it's useful for storing extra things. We have central heating and an electric hob. The landlady is nice and responds to concerns promptly.
We're a short walk from the high street in Fishponds which has Lidl, Aldi, big Morrisons, Sainsburys local and lots of pubs (the fishponds tap has delicious food) restaurants, cafés, charity shops and a library. There is green space nearby including snuff mills, which is a lovely walk/bike ride along the river, and oldbury court park.
Good bus links to the centre, Eastville, Kingswood, Downend, Frenchay Campus, Emersons Green. Buses 49x, 48x, 46, 25 and 17. A 5 min walk from the bus stop.
There is also space in front of the property to park.
About the current tenants:
We are both easy going people and looking for someone similar, who is friendly and sociable but respects personal space, and takes responsibility for cleaning after themselves and participates in shared chores.
We are a LGBTQ friendly household that welcomes individuality and respects everyone!
Guests are welcome but we both work a 9-5 so noise kept to a minimum at night.
About us:
Helena: I'm 29 and work full time in renewable energy R&D as a Marketing Administrator, I love cats, alternative fashion, art and music! In my spare time I like to watch documentaries, do arts and crafts and go to gigs 🎸
Prasis: I am 30 year old professional working in southmead hospital. I have lived in Bristol for 5 years and cant seem to see myself living anywhere else. I am very sociable, loves to cook, bit of a book worm (well audiobooks mainly) and travel around 🌍
