Hey! I’m just putting the feelers out for a house i’ll be moving into soon:)

The situation is that my mum lives abroad (in the falkland islands at the moment). She previously has rented out our home in Dorset but then when it comes to visiting England she no longer has anywhere to be/leave her stuff and spends lots of money on airbnbs etc. So she’s sold her home and bought one in staple hill so i can look after it while she’s away. The catch with this place is that mum (and sometimes her partner) will need to be back in the house when she visits England, this may not be that frequently but it all depends on what job she gets and i would never want her to feel unwelcome. So if that’s something that would bother you, this ad probably isn’t for you 🧡

We’re going to be looking for a couple of lodgers. It will be until she comes back for good (which is hard to say when, but she will most likely be moving to the Caribbean for a couple of years).

A little bit about me: i’m a tattoo artist (livslines if you wanna stalk) i run my own shop in Montpelier. I’ve been in shared houses for the last 8 years with no problems so i think i’m okay to live with 😁

I’m quite busy as a person because of managing a shop (with 23 artists) and also working full time on personal work. Being in a clean and tidy space is super important to me but because of life being crazy and me being adhd i’m gonna try and pay for a cleaner in this house - just to put my mind at ease living with new people etc

I have a gorgeous van that i love to go away in, i looove animals, i love art, i love doing things at the weekend. I love hobbies and crafts and sharing meals. I’m in a very wholesome era atm so it would be lovely if someone would join me 🧡 i am also incredibly aware and respectful of peoples personal space, i’m an alone time girlie too. I love to get out into nature when i can and i also love the pub (often both together)

A little about the house: it’s a 4 bed in Staple hill. One of the rooms will be locked when mums not in the country as her stuff would be in it. One toilet, one bathroom which also has a toilet. Walled garden (i’ll attach some pics). The house is quite pretty. Bear in mind in these pics we hadn’t actually moved into it yet so it will be decorated differently etc. most likely a lot more art and plants ☺️ i think mum wants to get a log burner put in too which is exciting. The medium and large rooms are massive, one has super lush built in wardrobes. There’s a big drive (so off road parking) and we’ll be putting police approved bike storage on the drive as i have a leccy bike 😂

The medium bedroom (upstairs, i’ll take the downstairs room) - £700 bills included

The small room which is very small so be warned! Would fit a double bed tho just about and there is a little storage bit in it - £600 bills included unless you’re in a situation where it’s just monday-friday for work then mum could do a discount

A little about what we’re looking for:

-we’re looking for people who are pet friendly. I have a frenchie but mum preferably doesn’t want any more animals in the house 🧡

- no football addicts 😂 i’m sorry

- we’d need people who are ok with mum being in the house when she comes back to england, this may be for a month or so every 6 months or it may be hardly ever. She has her own room with all her stuff in it. This is also a must as it’s her house so would hate for her to feel unwelcome! She’s very normal, i promise she won’t be some sort of crazy landlord lol. She just needs somewhere to exist from in England

-i’m not interested in having a party house. I love hosting and having people over etc but defo sway towards the chiller wholesome home life xx

Okay i think that’s enough rambling now. Message me if you’re interested 🧡 i’ll probably meet a few people for a drink or something when it comes to it:)) the move in date isn’t set in stone yet as we haven’t completed the buy (it takes a while). We could be looking for someone to move in Jan (i’ll be moving in Jan ideally) xx
