Please read description for full situation!

Hey! I’m just putting the feelers out for a lodger to move in April/around April ☺️

The situation is that my mum works abroad (soon in the Caribbean). She previously has rented out our home in Dorset but then when it comes to visiting England she no longer has anywhere to be/leave her stuff and spends lots of money on short lets etc. So she’s sold her home and bought one in Staple Hill (it wouldnt let me put that for some reason) so i can look after it while she’s away. The catch with this place is that mum (and sometimes her partner) will need to be back in the house when she visits England, this may not be that frequently but i would never want her to feel unwelcome. So if that’s something that would bother you, this ad probably isn’t for you 🧡

We’re going to be looking for a lodger to take the (small!) double room. Maybe for a 6 month>rolling tenancy but we’re pretty open to different situations etc. Most important is that we get on! ☺️

A little bit about me: i’m a tattoo artist (livslines if you wanna stalk) i run my own shop in Montpelier. I’ve been in shared houses for the last 8 years with no problems so i think i’m okay to live with lol! My bf Ryan is also living in the house with his own bedroom, he’s also self employed as a carpenter

I’m quite busy as a person because of managing a shop (with 20 artists😮) and also working full time on personal work. Being in a clean and tidy space is super important to me but because of life being crazy and me being adhd i’d love it if whoever moves in would be open to splitting the price of a cleaner to just avoid the stress of it all, but that’s to talk about at a later date

I have a gorgeous van that i love to go away in. Ryan and I love music, animals, art, doing things at the weekend. Hobbies and crafts and sharing meals etc. I’m in a very wholesome era atm so it would be lovely if someone would join me 🧡 i am also incredibly aware and respectful of peoples personal space, i’m very much an alone time girlie too. I love to get out into nature when i can and i also love the pub (often both together)

A little about the house: it’s a 4 bed in Staple hill. One of the rooms will be locked when mums not in the country as her stuff would be in it. One toilet, one bathroom which also has a toilet. Walled garden (i’ll attach some pics sometime but currently my mums stuff is everywhere as she’s moving to the Caribbean) ☺️ there’s a big drive and we’ll be putting police approved bike storage on the drive sometime as i have a leccy bike

The room is quite small so be warned but it is very cute and furnished/freshly painted! £640 bills included unless you’re in a situation where it’s just monday-friday for work then maybe we can do a discount ☺️

A little about what we’re looking for:

-we’re looking for people who are pet friendly. I have a snory dog but mum preferably doesn’t want any more animals in the house 🧡

- no football addicts 😂 i’m sorry this just isn’t a football house

- we’d need people who are ok with mum or her partner being in the house when she comes back to england, this may be for a month or so every 6 months or it may be hardly ever. She has her own room with all her stuff in it. This is also a must as it’s her house so would hate for her to feel unwelcome! She’s very normal, i promise she won’t be some sort of crazy landlord lol. She just needs somewhere to exist from in England

-i’m not interested in having a crazy party house. I love hosting and having people over etc but defo sway towards the chiller wholesome home life xx
