Description
My housemate is moving out end of December, we have been a happy and chilled household but they are moving to their own place and I am looking forward to sharing with someone new.
I moved to Bristol this year and enjoying exploring and meeting new people. I am looking to share my home with the right person, someone professional who is sociable and values a calm space to live and contribute to the experience, friendly, fun conversation, sense of humour, and keeping the space nice, tidy and clean.
I am going to photograph the double room once its vacated and I have decorated. So please with me...you can get a feel for the vibe of this home from my photos and description. You can also come and view and secure the room before my house mate leaves if you are keen.
I have a garden business so there are lots of house plants and wildlife/ nature is a key theme. The river is 15 minute walk and the woodlands of Conham river park and nature reserve, where you can get immersed in the trees, Beeses pub opens April to October we are on the taxi boat side. Lots of lovely walking in green spaces around the area. Troppers Hill is 20 mins walk and amazing views of Bristol and the countryside from there.
Bath is 30 mins drive as close to ring road and Longwell green retail park.
There is a great community sauna in Brislington 12 mins drive.
I wild swim and will encourage anyone who wants to try it.
The river is a big part of why I bought this place. You can walk to Keysham along the river and there are 2 more great foodie pubs with beer gardens.
I am on Hanham/St George border, 2 mins walk to Hanahm High street, Co-op, shops, pubs, post office, hairdressers, library etc.
The bus stop into town is 2 mins walk, a few stops to St George, bars, cafes, shops and the park vibes. In 30 minutes you are in town, Old market/Temple meads. Uber is £15 into town takes 15-20 mins
I am arty and nerdy about music, wellness and festivals but this is not a party house and I drink but not often or much at home.
I go to gigs/clubs and love discovering new artists.
I am into interiors, vintage and nik-naks, history, anime, sci-fi
I am going to decorate the lounge and the spare bedroom which will have a double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside table. It looks out over the front garden, facing East so nice morning sun.
The room isn't big enough for a desk as well and maybe not suitable for WFH full time, but I am open to discussing that idea if thats essential.
Its a bungalow so its ground floor living.
Shared bathroom has walk in shower, toilet and sink.
Cosy lounge over looks the garden through a big window
Fitted Kitchen with microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher
There is a separate dining room/conservatory over looking the back garden. There are fantastic views of the sunset from here.
The bungalow is on a very quiet cul-de-sac and has a drive, garage which is free to share for storage, a patio garden full of pot plants and seating, fire pit and umberella for shade on hot days, facing west has sun most of the day.
Bills are £215 each include super fast BB from Virgin media
C-Tax, Octypus elec/gas and Water
