Double room in 3 bed house share - bills inc

Hello! We are Amy and Christian, a couple currently renting two of three rooms in a 3 bedroom home in Horfield (on Muller Road), and we are looking for a new housemate as our housemate of 4+ years is moving in with his partner.

The room available is an unfurnished double with a large bay window, and available from 12th January.

Amy (36) is a yoga teacher and Christian (37) is a musician, and we both also work at Bristol University.

We're looking for someone who will join us in continuing to make this shared house a home. We are independent but enjoy cooking for each other, sharing music and tv, hanging out in the garden and working together to keep the house clean and tidy.

The house has a spare room (single) upstairs for storage and guests, a downstairs toilet in addition to the upstairs bathroom, a bike shed in the garden and a garage at the end of the garden accessed via a locked gate, as well as a drive out front and free parking on Muller road. The garden is really big and south facing and is a real sun trap.

Important information:
- Monthly rent: £660 pm including all bills except TV license (each room is a separate tenancy and so requires its own licence, but only one is needed in the house to cover communal areas).
- Initial tenancy for 6 months, rolling monthly after that until notice is given to end it
- Tenant's income to be £25k pa or more, not a student or wholly reliant on a zero hours contract.
- Security deposit £500 and as part of this holding deposit of £150.
- The rent will increase from June 2026 broadly in line with inflation and utility bill cost increases.
