We have a double bedroom available to rent in this cosy & homely 4-bed house situated on Toronto Road, Horfield.

The room is technically unfurnished (but does come with a wardrobe, desk and a bed as left from previous tenant) and the rent is £575p/m. With bills, we're currently paying £675p/m and the house is on Council Tax Band C also.

A bit about the house...

It's fair to say we love the place and do our best to look after it. It's spacious, cosy and has a really sociable kitchen/diner where we've hosted many dinner parties and board game nights over the years. With that in mind, we're looking for someone that will bring warmth to the place and are eager to socialise together on occasion - such as watching a movie or cooking together or going to a pub quiz at the local 'Inn on The Green' round the corner.

Regarding the house , it comes equipped with:

- Two fridges and a freezer
- Washing machine
- Dishwasher
- A decent-sized garden that gets plenty of sunshine all year round (along with a new BBQ and pizza oven)
- Driveway
- A bike shed

The location is about a 20-minute walk to the main shops on Gloucester Road also and is easily accessible to the city centre via the 75,76 bus.

Also to note, we have a good relationship with the landlord and he's super responsive to sorting out any issues - usually in the next few days whenever he's aware of an issue! He actually renovated and lived in the property before so it's a house he takes great pride in.

A little bit about us...

I'm Jake, a 32 yr old Web Developer. I'm massively into my running and enjoy all manner of music - particularly ambient and electronic music. I also enjoy watching/playing sports and have recently got into Padel. Love a pub quiz also!

Ed, a 30yr old Cafe Manager is a bit of a Indie music connoisseur and has an extensive Vinyl collection. He's almost always at a gig in town every other week.


Sean is 25 and works in science communication. He's also a big fan of music, and he enjoys playing the guitar and jamming with housemates, as well as going to gigs. He's into outdoorsy stuff too, like going on the odd camping trip and trying to grow veggies in the garden 🥕

The move in date would be the 1st September also.
