Spacious Double Room in Horfield

A fully furnished double bedroom in a 3 bed semi-detached house in Horfield.

I'm Jono, and my housemate has just moved up north with his girlfriend, so I'm looking for someone to take the double room he has left behind.

Located just off of Gloucester Road, the house is within walking distance of Southmead Hospital, Airbus and the MoD, as well as 100m from the bus stop into town or out to Cribbs. On-road parking out front, and never an issue getting a space right outside.

The room has a built in wardrobe, a desk (not in photo), a chest of drawers, double bed with an Emma mattress, and bed side tables. There's plenty of space should you want to bring additional storage.

The house itself has a large shared living area and kitchen, in addition to a well looked after garden, which is perfect for summer BBQs! There's one shared bath/shower. There's also a double garage out back for storing large items, as well as a secure outhouse for things like bikes.

I work in London 2/3 days a week, so the house would be ideal for someone that regularly works from home - there is a desk and monitor downstairs which you would be welcome to use when I'm in London.

I'm a young professional working in the energy industry, that moved to Bristol in 2019 as a Graduate. Weekday evenings tend to be fairly quiet when I'm in Bristol. Weekends vary from visiting friends, going on trips, improving the house or a trip into town to try a new restaurant or a pint on King St.

I'm pretty laid back and am looking for a housemate that is clean and tidy. Planning on getting a cleaner in every couple of weeks, which will not be at extra expense to yourself. Another young professional would be ideal - but I'm open to all!

Really flexible on move-in dates, as my previous housemate has now moved out.

All bills included (gas, electric, water, wifi, home insurance) with the exception of council tax (band B - about £100 each).

I won't take a deposit, but you'll pay rent a month in advance. i. e. one month ahead of moving in, and then one month on the day you move in. It means your last month here will be free!
