I am looking to rent out my loft room to the right person, is this you?
I am a single parent to 2 teenage children. We are a family, noisy but definitely loving and friendly though as teenagers go, moody and unpredictable 😂 - I have a son aged 15 and a daughter aged 13. I am currently going through a challenging time with both children and their needs, please be prepared!
The loft room is a large, bright and airy room that is fully furnished with a king size bed, sofa, armchair, wardrobe and chest of drawers as well as an en-suite shower room with toilet for your personal use. Also access to Broadband and a TV available in the room.
I would require access to the boiler every so often and the loft hatch a few times a year to grab our camping gear, Christmas decorations, etc - I won't come and go, I will respect your privacy and arrange access, with minimum disruption to you.
It is a beautiful personal space up there, that I lived in for about 6 months, and so very much loved
My only other lodger has been a student who has lived with us for the past 2 years, we have enjoyed having them but it is time for them to spread their wings therefore I am ideally looking for someone of a similar nature. Someone who has relaxed attitude, respect the household, room and my family situation
Though I have requested Mon-Fri only, I am open to 7 days a week, this can be negotiated
There is a shared living room, kitchen and garden
Bills are included however I ask for reasonable usage, we do like a cold house in the colder months so please bare this in mind (my kitchen is freezing)
It is preferable that your work environment is carried away from home due to my children's needs however working from home is considered with potentially more bills incurred
We are situated on Gloucester Road, close to all amenities:
Shops, restaurants, bus routes to town/MOD/Aerospace/ UWE and easy walking distance to Southmead hospital
The council tax band is band C
The room will become available from 16th July though moving in would be 1st August 2026
