Room for a new house mate :)

Hey Lovely Human,

We are looking for an awesome human to join us in my newly renovated home. I (Joad) am the live in landlord and I’ll be moving back in with my girlfriend Lis and my friend Jess, so we are looking for someone to join us in the last available room.

About the house:
I bought the house back in 2021 and had two lovely house mates (Jess was one which we met through spare room). 6 months ago everyone moved out the house and I have extended and re-done the house. So it will be a brand new home for all of us to live in.
There are two rooms available, but I’m only renting out one as the other I’d like as a guest room.

A bit about the rooms available/house:
Both rooms have a double bed with bedside tables and a wardrobe but there is plenty of space to add a desk of your own if you wanted. One double room shares the upstairs bathroom with one other person and the second room has an en-suite shower/toilet basin.

Double - £700
En-suite - £800
(If a couple comes in were to come in, we would prefer them take the en-suite and the cost would be £950)

Bills aren't included as I do not know how much the house runs on yet. However, to give you a round about figure the bills will vary from £120-160 (depending on if there is a couple or not). This includes - bills, wifi/TV, water, council tax, TV licence and cleaner every fortnight (to do communal areas and all bathrooms)

A little about us:
We are a professional household that works during the week days and have most evening and weekends off. Some of us WFH occasionally. We are friendly, social and like to hang out together but also respect each others space and alone time too. We enjoy having friends/family over for food/drinks. Plus, board game nights happen regularly too.

Lis (26): Hi! I’m from Ecuador and I have been in Bristol 2 years. I’m currently working in supply chain. In my free time I like reading, going for walks with friends, having drinks with them and playing tennis. I’m open to any plans (especially food plans and if it’s sunny it’s a plus)

Jess (31): Hey! I work in the civil service and moved to Bristol nearly 5 years ago now, coming from London. I’m usually busy doing something in my spare time, I love trying new things, having food/drinks with friends, sailing, walking and playing board games. I’m pretty easy going and enjoy the company of others most days!

Joad (30): Hey, I grew up in Bristol and came back after 2 years of being in New Zealand just before the pandemic hit and bought this house. I am an Osteopath who loves to get to know and be around awesome people. I am very social and I am generally busy with cooking/food, climbing (wanting to get back to it), football, walking, board game evenings as well as chilled ones and just inviting anyone to tag along with any fun activities I am doing that week. I am always up to do most things if I have nothing on.
