Hey everyone 👋 I'm looking for someone to join me in a cosy two bedroom flat in Horfield as my current flatmate Owen is leaving the UK for sunnier shores. Owen and myself (Andrew) have lived here in Horfield for the past three and a half years and have loved it. The flat is on a nice and quiet street, close to the common and a short walk to Gloucester road for the buses into town.

The place is a great size for two people! The living/dining room is comfy and has plenty of space to relax, the kitchen is big and has a great utility room for storage or drying washing, there is one bathroom in the flat for two people, and there is a nice balcony overlooking a garden area which is shared by all flats in the building. There is also a handy shed on the ground floor which we have access to that I use for bike storage and there is plenty of space for a second bike or storage boxes. The bedroom available is the larger of the two in the flat and faces out over the shared garden. The room itself is unfurnished as Owen will be taking his bed and desk with him, but all the bits of furniture in the shared spaces (sofa, table, chairs etc) are mine and will be staying.

A bit about me - I work for a music festival called Shambala full time, the office is based in Stokes Croft and I'm there most weekdays but with the occasional work from home day. I’d say I’m easy going and sociable, happy to chill at home in front of the TV but also spend time a lot of time out with friends at the pub or perusing whatever hobby I’m into. My interests are pretty varied and include running, swimming, cycling, going to the gym, live music/gigs/festivals, finding good places for food and drinks, etc etc. As a housemate I’m pretty tidy and also have fab Dyson vacuum cleaner to keep the place clean. Aside from all that I'd say I’m just your average Bristol person looking for a nice roomie. Just ask if you want to know anything else, and let me know a bit about you as well 🙂

Rent is £575 per month and bills come to approximately £150 per month. The minimum rental term is 6 months as per the estate agents rules, with the option to extend beyond that. The deposit is one months rent and will be administered by the estate agents as usual. The place isn't suitable for students because of the council tax, or couples because of the HMO rules, sorry!

The room is available from October 20th. We can do viewings in the evenings or on the next couple of weekends.
