Unfurnished double room in houseshare in horfield

Hello! Our housemate is moving out of Bristol for a new job, so we’re looking for a new housemate to move in at the end of September.

We’re Katherine (28) and Emily (28), both professionals who work shifts, including occasional night shifts. Because of this, we’re looking for someone who is respectful of shift work and the need for a bit of quiet sometimes. Unfortunately, the room wouldn’t be suitable for someone who works from home.

We both enjoy running (including the occasional half marathon), cycling, swimming and walking. We have a decent-sized, south-facing garden which gets plenty of sun in the summer and is great for sitting out and relaxing. Emily also likes growing her own veg in the garden!

We’re both sociable and enjoy eating out, having a few drinks and doing things together, but we also have our own lives and like having time to ourselves. We’re looking for someone who is similar and wants a friendly, relaxed house share.

The room is a large double bedroom on the ground floor and is unfurnished. It’s the largest room in the house and can comfortably fit a king-size bed. The rest of the house is furnished and was refurbished a couple of years ago.

The house has four bedrooms, although one is a box room which we use for storage and drying clothes. There’s an upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet, as well as front and back gardens and outdoor storage.

We’re around a 10-minute walk from Southmead Hospital and just off Gloucester Road, with direct bus links into town and out of Bristol.

There is free street parking, although we don’t have a driveway.
