Hi! I’m looking for a new housemate to join me in a two bedroom house in Horfield.
The room you would occupy is a good-sized double room with an en-suite, plenty of wardrobe space, a Juliet balcony, ethernet ports for access to the house’s fast 500Mb broadband (though there is also WiFi), and is fully furnished including a king size bed and mattress.
You will also be able to make use of the shared kitchen (and all it’s appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine) and the living room space, which are both modern and well maintained. There is also a parking space you can make use of, as well as a garden.
The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac just off of the top of Gloucester Road.
It is right next to Horfield Leisure Centre, and within walking distance to Southmead Hospital, Horfield Common, Horfield Health Centre, and all the places that Gloucester Road has to offer.
It has very good public transport links - It is right next to the 75/76 bus route which takes you directly into the city centre or up to Cribbs Causeway, the 17/24 bus routes towards Easton and Fishponds, and is a couple of streets away from the 70/72/73/74 bus route for UWE Frenchay campus, MOD, Filton Abbey Wood station or Bristol Parkway station.
About me - I’m a 36 year old male who works from home doing music software development, vegan, musician (though I work on headphones to minimise noise), who enjoys going to see live music or going on day trips but also just chilling at home watching TV, listening to music, or various creative things.
I’m looking to keep this a fairly quiet, chilled and tidy household which is a pleasant place to live; so I’m looking for somebody who is clean & tidy who will treat the house with care, and is respectful of space and noise. Somebody vegan or veggie would be good but not essential. No students, couples or pets, sorry.
Rent includes all bills.
Minimum stay is 3 months and then 1 month rolling.
Maximum stay is likely to be around 6 months due to the house eventually going on the market, but there is no set timeframe on this yet.
Ideally looking to get someone in by the start of November, but I can be flexible with this.
