Good-sized double room in a well-kept house on a quiet residential street in Horfield, a short walk from the leisure centre and within easy reach of Gloucester Road.

The room is 3.66m x 3.30m, faces over the back garden, and gets good afternoon and evening light. It's furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe, and a vintage compactum with internal shelving and drawers, which can be moved around or out of the room to create desk space if needed. There's a boiler in the room - it's two years old and very quiet, but worth knowing about upfront.

The house has a south-west facing garden and a garage for bike storage. Street parking is available outside.

I work from home (self-employed), so the house has someone in it during the day. I'm sociable – happy to have a chat, but equally happy to leave you to it. The house is well looked after.

I have two friendly cats, and they're fully part of the household. So the only non-negotiable is that you love cats.

Transport is well covered – buses 70, 73, 74, 75, 76 and 77 all run nearby.
Filton Abbey Wood station is a 20-minute walk, and Bristol Parkway is around 35 minutes by bus.
