Lovely double room available in Horfield £700pcm

I’m looking for a new flatmate to share my 2-bed flat in Horfield, as my current flatmate is moving to Canada.

I’m Lauren, 31, and I work in business development for a law firm in Bristol. I’ve lived in Bristol for 6 years and have been in the flat for the past year. I also live with my ragdoll cat, Alba, so it’s important that you’re a cat person! I’m obviously responsible for all of her care, but I’d love someone who’s happy to be friendly with her and feed her occasionally if I’m away for the weekend 😊

I’d ideally like to live with another woman around a similar age who is fairly settled in Bristol, but I’m open to anyone if we’re a good fit.

As a flatmate, I’m clean and tidy and like having a nice, cosy home. I love a night in as well as getting out and exploring Bristol. I like cooking, reading, socialising, and going out for food and drinks. I like being friends with the person I live with and doing things together occasionally, but I also really value having my own space and having my own life outside the flat. Ideally, I’m looking for someone with a similar outlook.

I work from the office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week. I own the flat, but I want it to feel like your home too. I’m very relaxed about having friends over and don’t mind people coming round, but it’s definitely more of a chilled home than a party flat!

* Bedroom comes furnished with a bed with under-bed storage, a wardrobe and a bookshelf

Rent & dates

* £700 per month + bills (roughly £180)
* Lodger’s agreement written up
* Rent and bills paid directly to me
* Ideally looking for someone who can commit to 6–12 months, although I’m flexible on how long you’d like to stay
* Room available mid-late October, although there is some flexibility if you need to move in slightly earlier

I’m on holiday from 8th–18th September, so I’ll be arranging viewings from the 18th onwards.
