Description
Hi!
I have a large double room available to rent.
I'm 44 years old and have just recently been made redundant from my job as a Director of Inclusion for a trust of primary schools. So I'm not sure what my schedule will now be like during the week. Whilst job hunting I intend to spend some time visiting friends and family so will be away quite a lot over the next few months. When at home and not doing life admin/job hunting, I like to read, watch good films, play the piano, sing/write music and catch up with friends
I live with a lovely woman called Shrinka who is 24 and works locally as an engineer. We are both fairly independent but enjoy the odd chat over dinner or a cuppa and a night in watching Netflix or playing games.
We hope whoever moves in would be happy doing their own thing but would also enjoy hanging out from time to time. We want the house to feel like a home for whoever is there.
The rent is £650 per month which includes bills and the cost of a cleaner who comes twice a month. Really sorry but I can't accommodate couples or pets (I have allergies).
The house...
It's a 3 bedroom house. Here are the main details:
Lounge: SMART TV
Kitchen and dining area: 2 Fridges (so plenty of space), a freezer, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dining table. If needed (I know some people like to bulk cook and freeze), I could get an extra freezer to go in the garage.
Garden area with decking and table and chairs
Garage at the back - can store things like a bicycle here.
Parking space at the back (see video on explanation of use)
Bathroom: Has overhead shower and hand held shower, bath and toilet. It's small but there is lots of storage space for us all.
Bedroom available: Has king sized bed, a bedside table, a dressing table, storage space and boxes under the bed and a built in wardrobe.
Transport links
The bus stop for the number 42 is less than 5 mins from the house and the number 43 and 19 bus is about 8 mins. Kingswood centre is about 30 mins walk. The Bristol/Bath cycle path is about 8 mins cycle away. There is a local Tesco express about 8 mins away.
If you're interested in the room, please do feel free to get in touch and it would be great if you could let us know a bit about you, your hobbies/interests and typical working pattens as it's nice to get a sense of who someone is before organising.
Thanks
Laura
