Hello!

We are Amber and Monty and are looking for a lodger in our home.

Just a quick note - we aren't in a rush so won't be making a decision for at least 10 days after we post this (posted 25 August)

The room:
A rear facing (quiet) double room w/ En-suite + shower. Its fully furnished with decent storage - wardrobe (see video) and large under bed drawers. The desk and bedside and en suite also have ample storage. Standard double bed with an Emma mattress which is delightful to sleep on. You're welcome to rearrange the furniture if you wish and put things on the wall and make yourself at home.

SHORT TERM LETS:
If you wish to stay for 3 months or under the cost is +£100pcm

The house:
4 bed with 2 living rooms, large kitchen and a garden.
Bills/Fibre Broadband/Council Tax Included.
Good neighbours.
Safe & friendly area.

Kitchen:
You'll have all the standard appliances: gas hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave + loads of kitchen gadgets if you're into cooking. You'll have your own large shelf in the fridge, and a door shelf to yourself. You'll also have 2 well sized cupboards.

There is a photo of the shared living room which is where to go if you wanna chill out downstairs. We will also use this room. There is a second living room, but it also functions as an office/studio.
The shared living room has a big TV with games consoles if that's your thing.

There's a toilet on the ground floor which is shared and the main bathroom on the 1st floor is only for us to use. That said it does have a bath so if you wanted a bath now and then that is cool, just ask.

There's a nice garden and a much smaller front garden. The back gets loads of nice sun, there's a patio with lots of outdoor seating and a firepit. There is a small carpark behind the garden where there will be space for you to park a car if you have one. It's a free for all but there's always space somewhere. Parking at the front is also free and abundant. We also have a hallway where you can lock a bike if you have one.

The area:
Nicely situated with access to town and countryside walks within easy reach. A 15-20 mins walk, 10 minute cycle or 3 minute drive will get you to the following places: Kingswood High Street (various shops and Sainsbury’s & Lidl), Longwell Green Retail Park (Gym w/swimming, Cinema, Retail Outlets), and the countryside with loads of nice walks and bike rides. Theres a tesco express 5 mins walk away. Stone throw from a Bus stop with route 43 to the centre, where there is also a Voi Scooter spot. One minute from the door is a very large park and three mins from another.

We are only a 5 min walk from the Bristol to Bath Railway Path which is a walking and cycle link into the centre of Bristol and to Bath in the other direction. Lots of lush spots along the way.

About us:
Amber is a full time Illustration student at UWE (just finished 2nd year) with a part time WFH job. Monty has a Landscaping Business. We are both outgoing and we like to say we are active. When we get round to it...badminton and road/mountain bikes are the go to. Week nights are not loud or roudy but may have a few drinks now and then. Weekends we may be chilling or going out with friends, going to gigs, having people over for dinner or having a BBQ... standard stuff. You'd be welcome to either join in with any of the above or do your own thing as you prefer. We can eat together and do house things together... movies, games, drinks & music etc. We'd like a balance of hanging out and being mates but also having our own space. Also we can introduce you to the city and our friends if you're new to Bristol, or if you want to meet new people.

The boring stuff:
- WFH friendly
- Pet unfriendly
- Smoking friendly (garden only!)
-We'd prefer any hook ups or one night stands to go to the other persons house. But if you're seeing someone or in a relationship you can have that person over, just don't take the mick. We don't want a 4th person in the house all the time.
- You'll need to clean up after yourself and we don't want you leaving your belongings around the shared areas.
- We try not to be wasteful with either food or energy.
- Don't care about your beliefs, background, politics or orientation.
