I'm a children's author and writer and looking for a housemate who is tidy, professional, sociable and independent., but would like to share a meal once in a while, and a glass of wine whilst putting the world to rights. I like a happy, comfortable household where housemates can share and help each other out, but obviously within reason and letting each other know.

The room is furnished with a double bed, great firm mattress, wardrobe, shelves, bedside table, lamp and black out curtains.

The bathroom has a new shower and new bath. There is storage space for your things.

A new kitchen with cupboard, fridge and freezer space is available to you.

Drive space for one extra car other than mine and storage shed for a bike or sup board.

5 min walk to a bus stop where the no. 2 takes 8 mins to Temple Meads and 20 mins to Whiteladies.

Rent includes all bills and Virgin TV and broadband.

I live on the end of a quiet cul de sac on a hill so have a great view. I have a pond, which I sit by to watch the world go by or moon rise, a veggie patch and 7 fruit tress (apples, pears and plum). The garden is big and spans round to the side of the house. We're not over looked by any neighbour, which is great.

Redcatch Park with a lovely community cafe is a 8 min walk. A nature reserve is a 5 min walk. A big Tesco Express is 3 min drive away and a local corner shop is a 5 min walk.

I work from home, so Ideally looking for someone who goes out to work. But, I would consider someone who WFH if they're the right fit. I like to have a zoom first to make sure we're a good house match.

I care about the environment and campaign to look after our rivers. I'm a writer, children's author and a mermaid- so I can take you to all the good swim spots, if you're into that.
