Description
I have recently completed converting my garage into this private annexe/studio (I still have a few bits to finish!). This would suit someone who doesn't want to a room in a house share.
A new mattress (single size), fridge freezer and induction hob is provided however there isn't a built-in oven, so depending on your own cooking style you might want to purchase a countertop air fryer/mini-oven/microwave.
The single-bedroom looks onto the back garden, which you will have access to so if you fancy trying some gardening, I'd love some help growing more fruit and veg. This year I had more rhubarb than I could possibly make crumbles for.
The washing machine and space to dry clothes is shared and in a separate lean-to.
Off-street parking and secure bicycle storage available. Buses M1 and 74 to the city centre are very regular and the bus stops are 4 minutes walk away.
About me: I'm 37, male, a digital marketing consultant for charities, working for home (next door). I enjoy travelling, playing tennis/gym, cooking, gardening and music festivals. I also run a monthly stand-up comedy gig in town for fun.
If you're interested, please tell me a bit about yourself and when you'd like to move in. I'll then get in touch to agree day/time for a viewing. If you don't hear from me, it's likely I have had a lot of interest and I apologise in advance that I probably haven't got enough time to invite everyone to a viewing.
Deposit required on day of accepting room and first month rent is required the day you move in.
£625 per month excluding bills (electricity, water, council tax, broadband and insurance).
For the bills you should budget for approximately £195 p/m:
Broadband = £15 p/m (fixed)
Council tax: £79.50 p/m (fixed)
Insurance: £12.25 p/m (fixed)
Water = £20.75 p/m (variable)
Electricity: £67.37 p/m (variable)
Thanks
Jason
