Description
Hi all, we have a room going in a 4-bed house share in Knowle, Bristol.
Rent is £535 a month. Bills are not included, but they average around £100 in the summer. Council tax band: C
The room is a small double facing the back of the house. Between the four of us is a kitchen, a living room, a downstairs toilet and an upstairs bathroom. We also have a backyard with outdoor seating for soaking up the sunshine. We are spoiled to have a car parking space at the back of the house; however, parking isn’t really a problem in the area.
We are a 30-minute walk from the city centre and are connected there by excellent bus routes. We are blessed to live by a lot of lovely parks, a small shopping centre, and a Tesco only 7 minutes walk away.
About us:
Myself 26: I'm a part-time library assistant with a passion for marine biology, reading, and unintentionally killing my houseplants. A big ol' melomaniac, I'm rarely seen without headphones on. If I ever go missing, check the kitchen, as I'm usually slaving over some new recipe I've found.
Rhi 26: A very talented fiddler (the musical kind) who lives for the folk sesh. She is a freelance seamstress for TV and theatre who works mostly from home. She has really good chat, a brilliant sense of humour, and is a prolific tea drinker. She regularly has a new tattoo to show you, most recently a snail with legs.
Harvey 30: super groovy guy and resident dungeon master (the nerdy kind). He is (was, he just quit) a bank employee by day and a music man by night. He's a fashionable, easy-going fellow with a heart of gold, and has a plethora of extremely niche internet knowledge to entertain you with.
We're a pretty musical household, so if you're not a fan of hearing the occasional violin or guitar (at respectful hours of course) then this may not be the place for you.
As a house, we like our quiet time, but we often socialise/check in with each other during the day. Although we're not a party house, we do host an Irish trad folk session occasionally, and love a good Halloween gathering. Harvey and I host a D&D campaign here for a few friends twice a month, 17 sessions in and going strong!
If you love animals and are generally a clean and respectful person, then drop a message telling us about yourself and why you think you’d be a good fit for our house!
Probably goes without saying, but if you aren't LGBT friendly or POC friendly etc, then please don't apply.
Thanks!
