Montpelier King-Bed Room (Mon-Fri Short Term Let)

We're a young, friendly couple (Jake and Tasha) in our 30s living in Montpelier, looking for a lodger to share our home with. The room available (see photos) has plenty of space and is lovingly furnished with a king bed, writing desk, shelves, open wardrobe + chest of draws, arm chair etc...

The house has plenty of space for all of us, with the room for lodging on the lower ground floor, while our room is on the 1st floor - which gives us all some privacy. The room comes with access to a separate WC/shower room (see photos) which will in large part will be yours (although not technically an en suite). You'll also be welcome to use the living room and kitchen areas (see photos) - its important to us that you feel at home while you stay with us.

We're looking for someone who is conscientious and tidy, but most of all friendly. All we ask is that you treat the house as our home, as well as of course yours. We're sociable people, but we also respect your privacy, and so we are open to both people who want to socialise a bit or those who just want their own space.

Parking in Montpelier is a bit of a nightmare so sadly if you rely on a car for work etc this may not be the place for you, likewise with the way the house is laid out a bike is not that easy to access or store (unless its a folding one). On the plus side the house is quite centrally located and has lots of amenities and shops on the doorstep and so most things and the centre are in walking distance. We also have a cat, she's very sweet and friendly, but that does mean we're not really able to take anyone with pets or cat allergies.

In terms of length of stay, this would suit someone looking for a short term stay, e. g perhaps you're commuting to Bristol for a new job before you find a long term solution. For now we've put the max as 3 months but we're open to anything over two weeks so please do get in touch.

Price is £130 per week for Monday-Friday arrangement, all bills and council tax included.
